Melissa and Doug Chart - Learning Responsibility the Fun Way

With the Melissa and Doug chart of responsibility, learning how to be depended on to do not only what is right but what is expected can be fun and rewarding. This wooden tool is a great way to recognize your child for learning what it takes to become a responsible adult.

With easily displayed tasks that when accomplished get marked off.

There are a total of 134 magnetic wooden pieces that show accomplishments for tasks and rewards for good behavior.

Since no household is the same there are 4 markers that are initially left blank so any special designation can be placed on them.

The chart itself is 2 feet wide when open and 1 foot when closed. The height is 16 inches.

The entire chart is hand crafted wood with magnetic parts. There is even a dry erase surface for extra recognition of achievement when is it called for.
Children of all ages will find this way of having their accomplishments recognized fun.
This positive reinforcement of responsibility will set a good tone for future tasks that need to be done.

Positive reinforcement is a way of helping a child build a good self image.
This is necessary to have a healthy and happy life with not only themselves but with others. There are some markers that if a task is not completed correctly will expose the child to positive criticism.

This is one of the hardest lessens to learn and best taught by a loving and caring parent. This way the child's self image will not be harmed.

The Melissa and Doug chart is a positive learning tool that if used right is an invaluable way for a child to mature into a responsible adult.
